A New Beginning?

Well I finally have something to share and the inclination so to do. I've been making a lot of cards to sell of late, it being the start of the car show season, and whilst I like what I have made they are not the stuff Iam most proud of and my blog is definitely a place for things that I am proud of. Take last month's solitary LO for instance, the product of my scrapbooking club.

I had just bought and was desperate to use the Tim Holtz Gadget Gears die and wanted to try a rust effect I had seen in a magazine. A photo of everyone's favourite science defying Land Rover was just what I needed. I've done similar pages about her before (she is definitely female!) but am really pleased with how this one turned out. The journalling spots and title were cut out and then inked with Rusty Hinge distress ink. Oh and title comes from a Land Rover T-shirt that I have had for a good few years now.

Because I am so out of sync with uploading and sharing etc this month's scrapbooking club has also already happened.
This month rather than a photo I decide to scrap a couple of the cards I had left over from christmas featuring my own artwork.

I got a bit carried away with the distressing around the edges of the page but rather like how it turned out.
