I am not even going to try to explain where the month of May has gone because I just don't know! If anyone finds a week or two hanging around they could well be mine.
But let's get down to business. The business of out of season scrapping. I asked a question the other day on the ScrapNYap board about whether anyone else found scrapping out of line with the current season difficult because I am having great difficulty getting the photos from this last winter off my to scrap pile. The sun is shining (through the clouds) and it is warmer and I want to be thinking summer not wallowing in snow and ice. As ever there are scrappers out there who feel the same as I, who have exactly the opposite view and those who don't have any opinion. It made me remember that there are no rules in scrapping and so I scrapped one of those wintery photos in a very unwintery colour scheme.
This LO was actually the first one I started this month and it drove me crazy whilst I tried to get the right papers. The fact that the photos are of a pencil drawing on wood made picking colours difficult (it seems to have been a difficult month for me colour-wise) but once I finally settled on this range by Pebbles it did eventually come together.
I have done other pages this month but am not going to do a complete run down of them, I could but I don't want too LOL. In truth there are a couple that aren't for sharing and I'd like to look forward rather than play catch up all the the time. I do want to share these though.
Cards that I made for my oldest friend who had her second son some weeks early at the end of April, apparently big brother has insisted on his card going by his cot (he's not quite 2).
