Let's start with what kind of set me off again. An halloween layout inspired and made from the wonderful kit i picked up at Polka Dot Crafts last weekend. I added a few bits of my own, the spooky spider lace, a couple of blossoms, a little bling, a bat and orange staples but I think I've kept the essence of what I loved about the kit.
The photo was me at halloween in 1996 all dressed up as a mad axe woman and ready to hit the students union and party. There is a second photo under the mat of the first but I look at those pics and wonder how i could ever have considered myself fat at the time? I wish i looked that good now, an incentive to stick to the diet I think!Next we have a self portrait layout completed for this week's challenge over on UKS.
The challenge was to use stash that you wouldn't usually, the stuff we buy and then wonder why we did. Well having just had a big sort out I had to turn to the stuff that's waiting to go and found some bits to use, there's hidden journalling under the photo explaining why I ended up with some of the stuff although I'm not sure where at least one of the items came from or even why i bought it. And it's turned out to be a LO that I actually rather like. Finally we have the page that didn't get finished at last week's crop.
The inside of my fridge on a day when I was wandering about taking pictures of random things. I love the retro colours of this LO and picked some weird and wonderful bits to embelish it; ticket, sticker, vintage button, paper string. Think they work with the randomness of the subject matter though.I've also made up my mind this afternoon as to how i am going to make the bulk of my christmas cards and I've started the production line that is necessary to stop me going mad before they are finished.
