Does Anyone Else...

...spend more time tidying and organising than actually crafting?
I ask because I know that so far this year I have spent more time sorting my craft room than I have crafting in it. And this is not a new thing, I am sure that I have always spent as much if not more time getting ready to craft as actually crafting.

Take this afternoon for example I finished a layout that I started yesterday. I have a pile of photos ready for further pages but instead my attention was of course taken by a pile of stuff, none of it craft related that had made it to the end of my desk. I decided that having looked at it for at least a week now was the moment to find it another home. One thing led to another and before I know it another couple of hours have been lost to organising. And I am still no closer to being happy with the room and am writing this blog post to try and distract myself because I haven't got time to pull everything out of the built in wardrobe before himself gets home.

That innocent looking cupboard has gotten under my skin and I know that until I rip everything out, dispose of probably a dozen items and rearrange everything back in I am not going to be happy. Yet I know that it won't end there, that I'll find another and another and another thing that needs sorting before my craft room is ready to craft in. Anyone would think that I didn't want to craft, but I do. Don't I?

Back Again

And no excuses either I just haven't felt like blogging lately.

I have however still been crafting and here are a couple of my LOs to proof it.
A very stately photo on this one. The title was a result of not having any alphas in the right colour but the masked letters really seem to work well.

The photo of me is not so flattering but does represent a good day out.

Everything apart from the lettering was from the 'botanical' range by craftwork cards that I fell in love with a year ago. After making plenty of cards with it I rediscovered it recently and decided that because I still loved it I had to use it one of my albums, this was the result.
