Having a Me Day

I have decided I am having a me day today. Himself is off messing with Land Rovers and I am going to do my own thing and not worry about the house and the garden, the chores will still be there tomorrow ;) That and I cleaned the house on Friday and today it looks like I never bothered and we were out all day yesterday.

Yesterday was actually very good. We went to the Land Rover Series One club's Anniversary Rally at Chepstow race course. Ok so we went in the car and not the old girl but it was a good day. Himself and a friend even went off road in the friend's fire engine LOL

But the fresh air wore me out and my ankle is painful today so I am going to do a little baking and some crafting. Talking of crafting today's photo is of a LO I completed on Friday evening for the weekly challenge over on UKS and considering it wasn't something I was sure about doing I am pleased with the results.

I've Returned

I've been awol for a while due to firstly not being here and secondly to not feeling great however I think I am getting back on track so here I am with more Craft and more Land Rovers.

I am in love with a Land Rover. More exactly I am in love with my Land Rover. The purple monster made her official debut at the start of the month and I am so proud of what my lovely OH and the long suffering Mr T have achieved.
And she (for it is definitely female) will hopefully be appearing in a magazine really soon because the Severn Valley Leafers won the award for the best club stand at the Land Rover World show on her second trip out and she carried the club officers into the arena for the prize giving. Even if she's not in the shot she had enough photos taken that weekend, pretty much every female present seemed to be having their pic taken next to her.

I'm also getting some crafting done, thanks to the influence of my fellow Shropshire Scrappers. I finished two LOs I'm really pleased with on Wednesday and will share them with you just as soon as I find my camera.
